Impregnated
Carbon Tubes and Rods
We offer custom manufacturing of various components from carbon rods impregnated with resin or antimony. These materials offer specialized properties that make them suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.
Recommended Applications
of Impregnated Carbon
Impregnated carbon rods are used in the food, textile, chemical, and other industries. They serve as materials for manufacturing components used in conveyors, dryers, textile machines, and bearings for submersible pump motors.
These parts, when lubricated with grease, inevitably cause contamination, whereas graphite bearings offer excellent self-lubricating properties, corrosion resistance, and do not require lubricating oils, allowing for long-term operation.
- Sealing Systems - Ideal for mechanical seals and sealing components.
- Electrical Engineering -Used for high-temperature conductive components.

Impregnation Materials
Resin Impregnation
- Wear resistance ensures long-term functionality in demanding conditions.
- Thermal resistance for reliable performance at low and medium temperatures (up to 200 °C).
- Excellent chemical resistance to acids, alkalis, and solvents.
Antimony Impregnation
- High mechanical strength and wear resistance.
- High thermal resistance (operation up to 400 °C).
- Chemical resistance to many substances makes it suitable for corrosive environments.
In addition to resin (R) and antimony (A), other impregnation materials are available upon request: babbitt (B), aluminum alloy (L), copper (C), and silver (G).
